Was driving home from Donegal for work today and pulled in for late lunch.
For a wrap with chicken, lettuce, cheese & mayo I've previously been charged at least 6€
So for all the outrageous prices ive seen here for breakfast/chicken fillet rolls, I just wanna share this 😊

  1. I dont want to be grim reaper here but mate, cut that “chicken” in half and look at the consistency of it….its not chicken per se….its the pâté of chicken origin…and we all know what pâté is made off…

  2. In fairness, the deli’s in Cavan, so folks around there won’t be tolerating having to part with any of their hard earned cash, so the price probably makes sense

  3. Ive always said people paying high prices for things are the real problem in this country

  4. I was only saying the other day to someone when I got my hot chicken roll (3.50) that Supervalu ( centra same company) are the only deli left that gives reasonable priced food.

  5. Lavey, Co. Cavan Centra, thank you. Doing the Lords good work 🤤

  6. +/- Same price I recall paying in 2001 in Kildare on my school lunch… Or maybe 50c more only

  7. Peak Irish sub crap this, down with this sort of thing

  8. If they charged more than €4 to a local it’d cause armageddon

  9. Regional stores sligo, Roll, Side and a drink €7.30. Grab a good to go either!

  10. They don’t actually have access to real chicken in Cavan, so it’s most likely a combination of rat and twice roasted sand.

  11. Give the shop a mention in the original post. They deserve a bit of attention for this and definitely deserve business for not ripping people off.

  12. Dude, brings back great memories of all my visits to Ireland. Those rolls for lunch were awesome. So much cheaper than what equivalent food costs by me here in the States. Took a while to get used to the shredded only cheddar, then I learned to put that fillet on top to lock it all down…
