What this orange paint on the tree means?

  1. I don’t get why people on reddit are troll posting when you asked a genuine question…

Anyway, it usually means that the tree will be trimmed or cut down.

  2. Usually it’s done by someone with knowledge and authority in the city council because if you let those idiots that operate the bush cutters and chainsaws a little of free will they would cut everything they lay their eyes on!

  3. Usually such marks on trees mean “cut this tree” or “do not cut!” or “cut the dead/loose branch”. The actual symbol/colour meaning depends on the local practice.

  4. do you eally need to crowd-source an explanation for *everything*? A police car drives by : “what’s happening?” A siren sounds : “why is there a siren?” There’s an orange dot on a tree or a turd on the pavement : “what could this mean??” It’s like nobody can see the tiniest thing without demanding an answer immediately.
