  7. Were these people paid through the summer? Why aren’t they being let go in June when the season ends? Imagine the season ends, and they tell you, you won’t be paid for 3 months, and in 3 months you find out whether you kept your job or not? Especially in an industry that’s dependent on booking jobs weeks/months in advance?

  10. That’s 3 so far? I was looking at the cast list and 2022 looked like 9 people were out that year.

  15. I wonder if she’s doing more with Bill Lawrence. She got a decent sized role on Shrinking and I could see her on Bad Monkey too.

  17. Man…. I’m going to miss her. She developed random cast assignments like no other. I hope she can find works that suits her style and the “NBC mafia” and let her expand.

    I think she would great in dramatic roles.

  18. Wow, I will really miss her from SNL… she’s been the backbone for SO many of the best skits (and every time she and Bowen Yang are together magic happens).

  23. December to remember skit will always be my favorite. She played straight to beck bennett so well. I was on the fence last season but now I think I’m done. It’s a shame.

  27. It’s strange to me to see so many headlines of “So-n-so leaves SNL after X seasons”. But I’ve never head of these people. And the difference between the last few years of SNL and the previous glory days. Other comedians were stars fairly quickly, these people linger and don’t offer much beyond the show.

  30. All television is dead. These beloved tv shows need to become online through YouTube and I don’t just mean skits but the entire program otherwise it will not reach the multi million audience it deserves.

    Tv is for folks in their 50s and 60s and most of them still watch streaming.

  32. It’s time for SNL to call it quits. The show has run its course. 50 years is a good run. Lorne just doesn’t wanna let the power go.

    I think Hernandez, Longfellow,Johnson are overrated. I just don’t laugh.
