As Belarus border crisis deepens, Europe and U.S. on course for more sanctions

  1. Who suffers with sanctions are the country population, that most of the times have do nothing wrong, are in no way responsible for the actions of government, especially in a dictatorship.
    sanctions might be good to stop “madness” from one government, at what, expense of millions of citizens.
    So, no, there must be other options, or especially some form of sanctions, like, armament, luxury goods, etc. Force the elite to not leave the country.

  2. I suspect that next move from Belarus would be aknowledging results of referendum in Crimea and that Crimea are now Russian territory.
    Plus establishing of permanent Russian military base in Belarus near Kiev.
