The UAE Ministry of Interior announced the handover of a wanted individual to the Dutch authorities, after he was arrested in Dubai based on a red notice issued by Interpol.
The suspect faces charges related to drug trafficking, money laundering, and involvement in organized criminal activities, and he was handed over following a court ruling and a decision from the UAE Ministry of Justice approving the action.
The ministry confirmed that this step reflects the UAE’s commitment to international cooperation in combating transnational crime and protecting the security and stability of communities.
