  1. The Home Office and Somani Hotels, which owns the Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex, today successfully overturned a High Court ruling ordering them to remove all 138 residents by September 12. This morning, a minister argued the closure of asylum hotels could lead to migrants ‘living destitute in the streets’. But the decision will enrage anti-immigration activists, who staged the latest furious protest outside the Bell Hotel last night.

  2. What mass protests? The usual vocal minority?

    Are we at a stage when the proccess of deciding what is right by working through the courts is now overuled by the Daily Mail suggesting there will be mass protests?

    There were MASS protests against Nigel Farage’s (the Brexit which was backed by the Daily Mail and resulted in a huge increase in the number of immigrants crossing the channel) but that wasn’t enough of a threat to change the result of the legal proccess.

    One day we will look back at traitors like **Jonathan Harmsworth, 4th Viscount Rothermere,** the billionaire owner of the Daily mail, and recognise he was much more resposible for the destruction of our country than some poor people fleeing the remains of countries we bombed to dust.

  3. So mass protests were a reason for the original injunction and then this ruling is partly because they don’t want to incentivise more mass protests and this is going to lead to mass protests lol

  5. Its almost as if the hotel has been housing migrants there for five years without a problem…

  6. Look, I know you don’t want them here, but when they turn up on a beach we need to put them somewhere that very same day. You can’t leave them to wonder about the place.

    So you need 100 beds and some toilets, and you need them today. Prison? No space. Even if there was space that’s a very expensive space and couldn’t be used for very long without a court case to keep them there.

    Tents? Where are you going to erect a tent city where locals won’t object? Plus it’s a lot harder to keep track of 100 people in tents while keeping it sanitary and its people fed. Remember, if they have to go foraging for their own food they’re bound to get into trouble.

    Existing buildings that already have beds and toilets? Well that’s the best middle ground between prisons and tents.

    Even if you plan to deport all of them without processing their claims, the best place to keep them while we arrange deportation is a building that used to be a hotel. It already exists. The bricks, the plumbing, the beds. It’s all already there ready to be used quickly.

    It sucks, but it’s someone’s job to find a place for these people. If there was a better solution they would have found it by now, because it’s their job to find it – not yours.

  8. Simple way forward, Labour need to get their act together:

    – Kept in tents on those big disused airfields or some uninhabited island off Scotland, guarded by the Army
    – Basic amenities, no internet or phones, no access otherwise to any taxpayer money whatsoever
    – “Tell us where you came from or you **will** stay here for the rest of your life, you will **never** be allowed to be part of the UK”
    – “Country X, take back your citizens or we will revoke all VISAs forthwith, cancel any foreign aid, cancel all flights and tax all remittances at 100% until you do”
    – Deport
    – Situation will resolve itself fairly quickly. Job done. Next.

  9. Do they need any entertainment? A stand up comedian that wants to bring back Vaudeville-like enthusiasm?

  14. The Labour Party is gonna take everything you got. They’re gonna take your children’s souls. Are you gonna keep bowing down to these people?. Everything they do is poison. Everything they do is designed to destroy you. And you’ve got to decide I’m not owned by the devil. I’m not owned by the Labour-Tory Uniparty. It’s a pack of criminals and everyone knows it.

    And that’s why the political class hate you so much, hate the native indigenous British people so much because they know we’re real. They know we love England, They know we tell the truth. When it comes to serving evil we the British people do not do it. We stand against it. What matters is your freedom, what matters is your integrity, what matters is who you are and your not for backing down…EVER!. And I don’t know how this is gonna end but if Labour and the political class want a fight they better believe they’re gonna get one.

  20. Well, how can we possibly keep these protests going?

    All those surgeons, nuclear physicists, solicitors etc. who’ve been protesting probably need to get back to work.

    Hopefully there’s some lager swigging, coked up wannabe football hooligans currently between jobs who can keep things ticking over until our best and brightest are on leave again.

  21. If the left are worrying about the guys in the hotels then why not take them to your house and support them financially? Then that way the far right will have nothing to protest and fight over? Im sure we could find out who voted Labour and send the guys over..

  22. Surely the hotel can decide to shut? Or do the give up all rights when they sign to accept all thw migrants?

  23. What’s more terrifying is that there are people who dont think we have a problem with mass immigration at all. Those people are aloud to vote and go outside unsupervised

  24. Illegals need to be turned back immediately. Not housed, fed and allowed to roam freely. This country is bananas

  25. There seems be a lot of money in this system for the middlemen who the Home Office have contracted finding a hotel too and the hotels themselves. Everyone must be getting a good pay out of all this and then people wonder why this country is £1 trillion in debt

  26. I don’t live in the UK but why not use the famous Royal Navy to watch for the boats and just handle everything offshore? Everybody without a country of origin is assumed to be French. Legitimate refugees can potentially get refuge and get the wars they’re fleeing a little more awareness since it seems we’re unaware of some of them. Adventurers and freeloaders can go back where they came from, or barring that, France.
