There are also new things to try, including these Birds Eye Green Cuisine Vegan Veggie Fingers. They are made with tons and veggies and can be cooked on the grill or in the oven.

The Veggie Fingers have more than 150 customer reviews, one person said: “My kids love these, have lovely vegetables inside and full of flavour.” Another buyer hoped for more filling, adding: “Quite tasty could do with more filling though. Tasted a bit like a spring roll in breadcrumbs.”

An additional shopper said: “These are lovely! So nice as a quick and easy snack. Taste is nice, they cook well and quick.

“Slightly creamy vegetable taste to them, and they go perfectly with a bit of ketchup. Purchased these as part of Iceland’s multi-buy offers, and as long as they stay part of the offers, I will definitely continue to buy. Would recommend.”

In the ‘Sandwich Essentials’ category, options include Warburtons Half and Half Thick loaf, Warburtons Danish Lighter White Bread, Bernard Matthews Turkey Slices, and Bernard Matthews Chicken Slices. There’s also a pack of eight Tortilla Wraps and a tub of Seriously Spreadable Cheese.

Meanwhile, fresh fruit options include easy-peeler oranges, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and various types of grapes. Shoppers also have the ‘Pick Any 5 Snacks’ category and the ‘Pick Any 5 Treats’ category, both of which contain goodies, including Mr Kipling Lunchbox Raspberry Cake Slices 4 pack, Cathedral City 5 Cheddar Cheese Sticks with Branston Pickle Dip, and Cadbury Dairy Milk Pots of Joy.

The Pots of Joy are perfect for sweet-toothed fans. They contain a smooth, creamy, chilled dessert with a thick, yoghurt-type consistency.

A number of other supermarkets also do food bundle deals. For instance, Tesco Clubcard members can pick up four selected frozen products for £5, choices include Birds Eye Chicken Burgers, Birds Eye Hot and Spicy Chicken and Birds Eye Chicken Fingers.

Iceland was named the UK’s Best Online Supermarket in a survey by consumer watchdog Which? in 2022 and 2024. On Trustpilot, shoppers can find reviews and ratings of the supermarket, where one person said: “Product variety, brilliant staff, good prices.”

A string of reviewers reported that deliveries are bagged at a small charge. One user said their delivery used a lot of plastic bags, stating: “Iceland is great, but I end up with dozens of carrier bags. If they did the basket scheme like other shops, it would be much better for home deliveries.”

An additional customer said: “I shop in person or have a home delivery from the Bury St. Edmunds store. Never had a problem with them, and they were my lifeline when I was isolating during COVID. Never had a problem with out-of-date food, it’s always been legal.”
