What the title says. Does anyone know what this is or what school might give them out? Is it important or maybe just a novelty trophy?
It also has engraved initials on the back but I did not include the picture so I can identify the right owner if needed.
This is a medal that used to be given to French students that completed a basic level of education. This diploma (certificat d’etudes primaires) no longer exists and was replaced by other diplomas in the 1980s. The medal itself isn’t worth much but it probably has sentimental value to the owner.
