Belgium havent done a lot in winter sports so the general interest is low, sad for her but it is what it is
I wasn’t, but the only sport I care about is golf. So it’s cool that you bring her to our attention!
Belgian sport media only cares about cycling and football.

She’s really good but yeah, bigger, more popular sports get more money.

She had heavy newspaper coverage during both the Olympics and the World Championships.
But she’s still in a tiny, tiny sport in a tiny country. And as such, she suffers the same fate as many of our other world class athletes from low popularity sports.
I suggest the overpaid footballers donate some small change.
