  1. Polish speciality “Januszeks” or “Januszex” in his case. Seen that, seeen that model personally.

  2. It’s the EU, so does his paving business have contracts beyond Poland? If so, the impact could be major indeed.

Also working against Szczerek’s interests is the fact that he & Kamil Majchrzak are both Polish. If Majchrzak has taken note of his identity (and I’ve heard that he has), he could use his influence in Poland to embarrass the guy and minimize his influence and presence at sporting events there.

  3. To use a Polish word learned from my grandmother, Szczerek is a *dupa*.

  4. I think what sunk the boat for him was to double down on social media – you could have apologized, hell I would have believed if he would claim it as a misunderstanding or whatever. Gift some hats to children in need if you feel like turning the tide.

But citing some Darwinism shit, that was just dumb. You had it coming and you had all options to avoid the sh*tstorm..

  5. This already happened a couple of days ago. I did not see the CEO’s response to the backlash though.

  6. For the man who has everything… stealing the sparkle from a child’s eye. How pathetic that this is the world we have made.

  7. 100% of the C-Level types I worked with are like that… every single one.

  8. Surely he’s just admitted a public theft. It’s pretty simple from now.

  9. I hope that polish people will hurt him where it really metters. Even if him being the ceo means nothing if he doesn’t have shares of that company

  10. He made himself look like such an idiot.
I feel sorry for the employees he manages

  11. It’s funny that this made the big news, given that 99% of the people in the world are like the kid every day of their life, getting robbed by the rich and powerful psychopaths.
Welcome to capitalism, where the big fish eats it all.

  12. Typical “Fuck you, I got mine.” You don’t get to be where he is by being a decent human being.

  13. Being a thieving bastard is bad enough, but he went a threatened the entire internet with lawsuits. This guy is going to get Streisand Effected off the planet.

  14. Complete jerk. I hope his company goes bust and he ends up homeless on the street because that’s what he deserves.

  15. If you look, this article basically praises the CEO for building his business and donating to charity. Even when they’re being demons, the “journalists” have to sing their praises. Pathetic.

  16. Would be really funny if reddit collectively starts spamming the company contact form with “You’re a loser”

  17. ladron, payaso y muy cortito de mente…acaso no sabes que todo queda grabado?..mala persona..

  18. Good! That was absolutely insane a grown man acting like that. Shame shame

  19. I am often amazed that people think low empathy and pathological behaviors are INCIDENTAL with CEOs.

  20. Janusz is a Polish name but janusz is UNIVERSALLY used to describe Polish greedy CEOs and bussines owners.

    Context
Within a single generation, Poland has gone from one of the most egalitarian countries in Europe to one of the most unequal – EUROPP – https://blogs.lse.ac.uk/europpblog/2019/12/02/within-a-single-generation-poland-has-gone-from-one-of-the-most-egalitarian-countries-in-europe-to-one-of-the-most-unequal/

  21. Same guy who steals lunches from the employee fridge. He believes he is better than others.

  22. His response was: “Yes, I took it. Yes, I did it quickly.
But as I’ve always said, life is first come, first served,”

Can you imagine how he treats his staff.

  23. The kid already had a huge tennis ball – most likely given for free (other kids in the background have the same ball), so Piotr felt entitled to also get something for free.

  24. It’s not just the fact he stole it for why he’s being blasted.

It’s the pathetic doubling down he’s done to justify it.

  25. Wow, what an asshole. Someone should steal it from him and leave him a MAGA cap instead. Fits better to him.

  26. “The recent incident at the tennis match has caused a disproportionate online uproar. It’s all about the famous hat, of course. Yes, I took it. Yes, I did it quickly. But as I’ve always said, life is first come, first served,” he claimed.

I understand that some people might not like it, but please, let’s not make a global scandal out of the hat.
It’s just a hat. If you were faster, you would have it.
Regarding online hate, I remind you that insulting a public figure is subject to legal liability. All offensive comments, slander, and insinuations will be analyzed for the possibility of taking the matter to court.”

What he said about it on a forum. Jerk.
