  1. Source is this twitter post by the Lithuanian armed forces: [https://x.com/LTU_Army/status/1961707864117928271](https://x.com/LTU_Army/status/1961707864117928271)

    The post reads:
“This week, Lithuanian engineers placed dragon’s teeth at unused border checkpoints with Belarus & Russia. Together with other national institutions, we will continue assessing key border areas where mobility will also be restricted in the future.”

  2. nothing new. they have been fortifying the border for many years. this is just a very small part of it

  3. It’s all very much for the optics and for show, because as we know tanks can drive around a road full of concrete to the slightly less well protected barbed wire on each side.

  4. Do the russians have tanks anymore? Should be donkey feeders and e scooter walls.

  5. it is very important to connect them together, otherwise it has minimal effectiveness

  6. A good ruski after a bottle of vodka would be able to push them as fast as a tank goes.. They hope to calm down the society and pretend they are doing something. Meanwhile, notable amount of government people have houses in Southern Europe. They’ll catch a ride, not ammunition.

  7. They should also consider building a ring of two walls with a “kill zone” in between if the russians dare to invade. Thats probably hurts the most

  8. Honest question, can’t the tanks just blast those from a distance?

  9. >The army emphasized that these measures are not connected to the Zapad-2025 military exercise. They are part of planned actions under the Baltic Defense Line project, a joint initiative by the Baltic states and Poland aimed at reducing the risk of a Russian ground invasion.

And this is from September 2024:

[Lithuania has completed fortifying part of its border with Russia’s Kaliningrad region, deploying minefields and concrete barriers shaped like “dragon’s teeth.”](https://united24media.com/latest-news/lithuania-fortifies-border-with-russias-kaliningrad-region-using-mines-and-concrete-blocks-2178)

  10. As someone who is from the UK. As an island that is technically impossible to be invaded by tanks. I feel sorry for you lot. It must be terrifying commuting to work, moving about and other daily stuff while all this stuff is getting setup in the background.

  11. It would be better if they just draw a line and write please don’t cross the line

  12. finally! I’ve been saying for two years now: it will be the next target after whatever pause Russia agrees in Ukraine

  13. As far as I’ve seen  videoes from FPV, both the Ukrainians and the Russians, use armored engineering vehicles with a blade for destroy dragon teeth.
Recently, they’ve been using radio-controlled models that are difficult to damage with FPV.
It’s likely that Lithuania needs to marshy most of its borderlands.

  14. A sensible thing to do. You never know when Luka and the Midget may want to test NATO’s response.

  15. All countries borders with ruzzia and belarus, so do the same and as much as maximum precautions measures.Never too late than ever.this mad poo-tin doesn’t go stop only in Ukraine.

  16. meanwhile ruzzians on reddit: ” why all do not like us, we are friends”

  17. Its time to create a trench minefield and prepared firing cones

  18. Hasn’t Ukraine proven that dragon teeth are rather ineffective?
