  1. They have the circus part down. Wondering about the bread.

  2. All fun and games until inflation hits and banks start printing money to fund the war.

  3. I wish my government would distract with festivals instead of *checks notes* occupying cities with the national guard.

  4. TBH most people just don’t care about the war, especially in Moscow

  5. Festivals reminiscent of those Russian cartoons that Stewie had to watch:

*Shoe and shoelace. One is meaningless without the other.*

  6. Russia can only distract its citizes from reality for so long. If Ukraine keeps hitting Russia where it hurts, things will start to get much worse. Sure, in Moscow, things might feel normal, but for the surrounding cities and villages, the reality is starting to sink in. Fuel shortages, power outages, internet blackouts, rail and transportation delays, and food and supply shortages are becoming a reality. The fear and anxiety will start to set in, and issues will begin to trickle their way to Moscow.

  7. I liked that near 1st year of the war of Ukraine. Russia citizens were protesting the war that They started. Now all that has been suppressed..

  8. “You see Vasily, you give people vodka and circuses, they will be too happy for looking major disaster coming.”

  9. And Ukraine assists by starting frequent firework displays for them to enjoy.

  10. What for, the citizen will not do a damn thing anyway.

  11. “What kind of dress is she gonna wear? – floggings. What’s the cake gonna look like? – executions. Who’s gonna be there? – fear.”

  12. It worked well for Roman Emperors. Does Russia have its own version of the Coliseum?

  13. “Are you enjoying festival? Da? Then you are fit enough for front lines. NOW!”

  14. Good morale for the sandbags in the trenches I suppose….NOT

  15. With what money? I keep hearing about other countries making things more expensive for Russia. Or was that just a “1 …. 2 …. 2 and a half ….” like a million other things related to Russia? That’s probably it, ain’t it?

  16. While waiting in long gas lines, enjoy this juggling clown

  17. “The Kremlin […] has sent tens of thousands of Russians to their deaths.” Is it not hundreds of thousands?

  18. Distract them until, they have to kidnap the Russian males to send them to the Ukrainian front lines?

  19. It’s hard to drive to all the festivals without gas…

  20. …where they most likely will capture you and put you on the front lines
