Why is Ukrainian Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Oleksandra Matviichuk still being forced to explain that Ukrainians want peace more than anything?

  1. Yes, because people totally love bombs going off in their backyard every damn second of the day.

  2. I’m sure she’s 100% tired of being gaslighted by half the world community.

  3. Any Ukrainian can relate to her speech. I’ve friends on the frontline, I wish them to be alive, but peace is only possible when Russia goes away. Otherwise tortures on occupied parts of Ukraine will not stop.

  4. More than peace, Ukrainians need and want security. True peace brings security. But as the speaker explains, while surrender ends the war it doesn’t provide security so it’s not true piece, only occupation. If lasting security requires war, then war it must be, even if it reduces security while it’s happening. Think for tomorrow, not just today.

  5. May your war for independence bring 1000 years of peace. Slava Ukraini, the Greeks salute you

  6. What makes my old Italian blood boil, is that no information comes out from the occupied territories, because no Western journalists are allowed to go there.I can’t even start to imagine what the life is under occupation for Ukrainians.

  7. Oh I remember the first 10 seconds: that’s the start of the “Battle for Techno House”. Sorry for this trivial comment.

  8. war is peace and peace is war, 1984 was not fiction, it was a satire with accurate description of how things work in the russian empire
