  1. > In the objection, Mr McMahon signs himself off as “Judge Patrick McMahon” and the objection is made with Judge Patrick J McMahon headed notepaper complete with the State ‘harp’ and an address at the Four Courts along with the couple’s address on Mount Merrion Avenue, Blackrock.

    Such notions.

  2. Once again I feel certain that the members of this sub will no doubt agree with the sentiment “Judge Patrick J McMahon, go fuck yourself”

  3. “the developer is stating that this is a development for older people. At the same time, they claim to be putting in 64 bicycle spaces. This is blatantly contradictory.”

Because, famously, old people view bicycles as a newfangled contraption that will never take off.

  4. Tell me about it, north side is full of fancy houses and the people living in them are totally against new developments in the region, specially apartments since “they moved here for the peace and quiet” and “its gonna reck the amazing view”.

As a foreigner I gotta say, Ireland is full of entitled bastards…

  5. Irish people objecting to new developments in their area, it’s a tale as old as time. At least this lot are likely to be FG voters so probably aren’t being two faced about blaming the government for doing nothing about the housing crisis

  6. Honestly we may just get as active as these too much time on their hands NIMBYs and send as many approval letters as we can

  7. I live in Blackrock… this will not wreck anything. Tell the ancient judge to go die and fuck off. People need housing. It’s that simple – fuck every single NIMBY person in this country.
