Im often in the swedish and danish subs because the also pop up in my feed because algorythm
I think a lot of it are people being suggested posts, I get suggested posts from the Swedish, Danish, and Finnish subs all the time
I am English and I like Norway.
I am born Norwegian but living Denmark so yeah.
I am from Germany and like the Nordic countries
Danes are basically a mix of Germans and Norwegians
I’m here cause I visit Norway quite often and reddit is a great place to stay in the loop for what’s happening within the society 🙂 made a lot of realtime friends from reddit over time.
Im studying here my master’s so maybe many students use Reddit
Expats?
I live in the US, but took Norwegian in college. I was mostly using Reddit to practice reading and am still subbed
I get this sub suggested to me and it’s interesting enough that I don’t mute it. (Finland)
Dane here – i sometimes get it as a suggestion. It is just interesting to see what happens up there.
Checking from Iceland. We’re thinking of making the move over in a few years, so it’s good to have an idea of how things are there. We’re very used to crap weather, lack of competition, darkness in winter and poor driving conditions, so at least that will be familiar territory.
I’m Italian and have been to Norway two week this summer and some post appears into the feed. Wonderful place by the way
Indian who lived in Oslo for three years and now back in India but my soul is still in Norway
Iceland over here, need to know what goes down on the other side of the pond
I am Danish living in Denmark, but I like Norway in general.
As far as I can see this is the only one of the norwegian subs where commenters write in english, so it’s probably much more accessible for people outside of Norway who want to see norwegian things. As to why the Danes are here, they are probably more interested in scenery and culture than chocolate prices and voting.
I am from France and spent a lot of time in Norway a while ago. I still like both the place and the people.
I am from Hungary, spent a week in Norway 2 years ago. I really liked it, started to learn the language last year, and planning to go back in the near future. 🙂
German here who likes norway a lot
I am from Finland and r/Norway just suddenly started to appear on my feed one day. While I have not seen Swedish or danish subs on my feed. Apart from random Swedish meme sub and Danish subs where people share their payslips. Don’t know why.
I’m Danish and I always get Norway recommended because of algorithm I guess.
I live in norway but like 50% of the time I’m on a VPN to get shows on amazon prime or iplayer

Im norwegian, living in denmark
I probably fall under «other», as a Norwegian living in the US
