Me and my friend (males, 22 yo) are planning to move to Belgium soon under the Temporary Protection program and are looking for a place to stay with registration (domiciliation). Legal address is very important for us, since it is required to receive a Card A along with social support.
• I have a background in international organisations (worked in NGO and UN-entity) and my friend has experience in retail. We both speak advanced English, but only basic French for now.
Our budget is limited at the start, so we are mainly looking for:
• A small apartment or studio to rent (long-term). • Or a room in a shared flat where domiciliation is possible.
It would be convenient for us to stay in Brussels or nearby (because most job opportunities are there), but we’re open to other cities.
If you know landlords who accept domiciliation or if you’ve been through this process and have advice, we’d be very grateful.
