    Imagine being a guardsman, being shipped three states over, and you end up raking leaves and emptying trash cans, and not get paid.

    Well guess who just pulled landscaping duty? Anybody else’s fingers hurt? I didn’t think so. 

    Army didn’t look scary enough for his parade so now he has them on unpaid landscaping duty lol

  9. The National Guard is getting *free training* on raking grass. This will be an invaluable skill when they’re deployed to national forests to rake-up flammable detritus.

  29. That title is misleading. They are being paid. He is just avoiding paying the extra housing rate (appx $2500 per person) by making the orders for 29 days rather than 30.
    It’s an arsehole move for sure.
