Not quite the Belgium I grew up in. Kruidvat did not exist in belgium. Neither did nightshops. I didn’t take the bus to school, i went by bike. We did not go to the frituur for lunch during schooldays, you either ate at school or went home to eat if you lived close enough. You needed a signed paper to state which one you would be doing for the entire school year.
The rest yeah… that seems pretty much the same now as it was then.
Only see sad pictures. We have some hot beautiful summers also, where are they?
I feel like the rainy periods are so bad regarding rains that we often forget the summers are actually good for the most part. The frituur is also not so gloomy, those mayo covered ones are lekker!
