1. I really, really hope this is effective in chilling everyone tf out and not just talking about the law.

   I hope they understand people’s fears and address the rising threat of populism.

   I hope they sound like the grown ups in the room without patronising everyone, and whilst showing empathy and understanding to all sides so as to defuse tensions with reason.

   Without sounding like politicians.

    What do we offer that other countries don’t? Like a lot of them are in France, why don’t they claim asylum there?

The annual cost of asylum seekers in the UK would not run the nhs for a single day, for example. The majority of sexual violence crimes are committed by white British nationals. Unbridled immigration isn’t a good thing, but the fear has been amplified and you need to question who that benefits. Those of you who will vote reform, take a second to ask what of their policies you support on economics etc.
