The audacity. I think I’m gonna stop getting my stuff delivered to the lockers.

  1. Is there a bag missing inside or is it just ripped? To me it just look like transport damage.

  2. Damn, is the locker in a shitty neighborhood? Never had such issues.

  3. Looks like someone just stepped on it which broke the box and one of the bags fell out…

  4. I’ve only had these kinds of problems with GLS, BPost has been good for me.

I do let them deliver at home, our front door is at the side of the house and can’t be viewed from the street, and there’s not that many people passing by.

  5. All these delivery companies are so competive to survive that the quality and customer care just going down the drain. Tried to send a box of gifts (chocolates etc) to the UK a year ago and it had to be returned. I got a piece of cardboard back and 1/10th of the contents. After that, the mailing (if even possible) starts with the company who used another company to deliver. It’s just one big clusterfuck of a mess.

  6. Once lost a packet from Farmaline by BPost. Farmaline told us it wasn’t the first time.

Our last Farmaline order also had a punchhole in it. Luckely the items were too big to pick through…

  7. Had a giant package “disappear” on me with bpost only to have it turn up on my doorstep a few days later taped back up… I think they weren’t expecting a bunch of yarn XD

  8. Never had problems with BPost before. Really sucks this happens

  9. Los van het feit dat de pakjesbedeling ronduit beschamend aan het worden is; is het niet beter gewoon uw Doritos halen in de Colruyt samen met de wekelijkse boodschappen?

  10. so you’re saying that you didnt have all the 20 packs inside that box? how many did he take?

  11. I think bpost wins the award for the worst service imo.

  12. To be honest I used to complain about bPost as well but it has been years since I had any issues. They’re probably the best delivery service in Belgium right now, haven’t had any problems with them for years. The others though.. looking at you specifically postNL.

  13. Ordered a book for the kid last month. Was well on the way, got the delivery slot of between 5pm and 10pm (not necessary for a book but I guess that is how Bpost rolls) and you can follow how many stops. 10.30pm comes around and I check the app: somewhere between 24 stops to go and then, the package had apparently been damaged and needed to be returned. Okay……….. Amazon is easy enough, they just send a new copy no probs.

Two weeks later, on a friggin Sunday, I hear the *boenk boenk* of a car stereo before it even gets to the street. It seems to stop in front of our house and the mail-slot clanks. I find an Amazon package. It’s neatly had that cardboard strip pulled off to open it and inside is the originally ordered book…. So ‘damaged on the way’ meant ‘oopsie, someone opened it (very neatly!)’

Made me wonder if they look at certain shapes/weights/brands and have a few ‘lost’ or ‘damaged’ each trip, to then go deliver the ones with no value at some random later point.

  14. That’s why I always tick the box on the Amazon checkout page “hide contents of package”. Then they put the box inside an Amazon box. Not foolproof of course, but it’ll stop a van driver with the munchies.

  15. Is anything missing? Report it and if Bpost doesn’t respond properly, escalate to ombudsman voor de postsector: (https://www.ombudsmanposte.be/) and you would also be within your rights to file a police complaint.

Packages are protected by briefgeheim / secrecy of correspondence. It’s a constitutionally protected right. If there are signs it was deliberately opened/damaged, or there’s a sachet missing, they need to take this seriously.
