In case you missed it on Sunday, Princess Rajwa, along with her husband Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan, joined her mother-in-law Queen Rania for a new official portrait to mark a special occasion – the queen’s 55th birthday. “
Happy birthday to my loving mother. God bless you,” Hussein, 31, wrote as he captioned the photo on Instagram.
That’s all from me for today, but I’ll leave you in the very capable hands of Nicky Morris, who will be covering this evening’s latest royal news…
Have a great evening, all!

On Monday, the Queen visited multiple local projects supported by the Cornwall Community Foundation, an organisation dedicated to strengthening communities and tackling disadvantage across the county.
Her Majesty has been Patron of the Foundation since 2005 and has long taken a keen interest in the work it does to support grassroots initiatives, charities and volunteers.
During the visit, Queen Camilla – formerly known as the Duchess of Cornwall before her husband, Charles, ascended the throne – also met members of the public in Newquay.
She may not be wearing Tom Cruise‘s iconic aviator sunglasses, but Princess Leonor of Spain had her own Top Gun moment when she was pictured wearing her air force uniform for the first time on Monday.
The 19-year-old daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia enrolled at the General Air Academy in Murcia, marking the start of her final year of military training. The young royal will become a future captain general of the Armed Forces when she accedes the throne.
The Spanish princess climbed aboard one of the Ministry of Defense’s Pilatus PC-21s, an advanced training aircraft used by the Air Force to train pilots before moving on to fighter jets. See all the pictures here.
King Charles has set out to support the local ecosystem at Sandringham with his latest home upgrade. The 77-year-old monarch submitted plans to the King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Council to have six ponds installed on the grounds of the Sandringham estate.
In an effort to support the local ecosystem, the ponds will each have a reedbed that aims to help save the endangered great crested newt species. If granted permission, the King will have the ponds built this autumn on the farmland near the village of Wolferton.
In case you missed it, Princess Marie Caroline of Liechtenstein married investment manager Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer at the Cathedral of St. Florin in Vaduz on Saturday.
The princess looked breathtaking, but it was her tiny bridesmaids who stole the show as they helped the royal bride up the steps to meet her husband-to-be.
The young group of girls, which included Princess Marie-Astrid‘s three-year-old daughter, Althaea, all wore matching dresses from London luxury childrens-wear brand Amaia Kids – which also happens to be loved by Kate, the Princess of Wales.
I don’t know about you, but I always find it tricky to know what to wear in this in-between period between summer and autumn. Someone who (unsurprisingly) doesn’t have this problem is Princess Kate, who is in possession of the ultimate transitional wardrobe.
From trenches to camel-toned jackets and cosy textures to light and breezy, the Princess of Wales really does have it all in her fashion arsenal. If you’re in need of a little royal inspiration, check out our round-up of the best jackets in Kate’s collection here.
The start of September is a marker for many things — the end of summer, the return of that crisp autumn chill in the mornings and, of course, the kids heading back to school.
The Prince and Princess of Wales‘s children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis — are set to return to their classrooms at Lambrook School in Berkshire this week, so we took a trip down memory lane to see more royals on their first day at school. Read the full story here.
