What an angry prick of an ignorant driver. And there will be people in here justifying him driving badly because the road has not been upgraded. Ban him driving for the rest of his silly life.

    True he has to take the driving test again which will no doubt fail but still.

    Also 100mph crash appears to not mean they were travelling at 100mph but rather they were travelling at 50mph when colliding unless I am reading it wrong. Is that what people mean when they say that, adding the speeds of the two opposing cars together?

  6. Any sane and sensible driver would rightly condemn such behaviour regardless of how dangerous the road is. If I know a road to be dangerous or treacherous, I would exercise more caution, not less.

    A simple fine for this is completely inexcusable, well in excess of the speed limit and causing a crash, should be at least lengthy driving ban and a re-education course before he even attempts to sit a driving test.

  16. 3k is pocket change to this guy. 12 month ban is nothing compared to the life changing damage he had done.

    100 on that road and not snowing down when driving into the sun was mental.
