  1. More and more I’m worried conflict with Russia may be necessary in order to preserve democracy in the western world. With these continued protests in Russian aligned countries, the rise of the pro-Russian far right, the war in Ukraine, I don’t think democracy has been in this much danger since WWII. With US leadership now diminished due to our own pro Russian president I fear for the future.

  2. Despite what the Serbia adjacent Serb’s have done in my country I actually admire the Serbian people for their bravery and courage in standing up against injustice.

I also hope they lock away their dictator in jail for his crimes against his own people, including the 10+ that died at a railway station, as well as the other thousands that are being poisoned by the exploitation of their country that the U.S. as well as the EU sadly is complicit in.

Europeans need to all pull their balls up and it’s time to fix our societies because decay has come to our societies. Serbia is a leader in this regard.

  3. One thing that makes those protests less legitimate that those slackers demand to have their exams marked as passed when they don’t go to their schools as a protest.

Why add those ludicrous demands to political ones? This just makes easier to dismiss whole protest.

Also, demanding to mark exams passed even if you don’t qualify is just fooling and irresponsible.

  4. Yeah all Serbian teens after finishing up their summer break miraculously decided to ditch school and protest against democratically elected government. Makes a lot of sense. They must know what they are doing. They are for sure not being manipulated or controlled.
