When compared to July 2024, which saw 625,665 international arrivals, the current month’s performance showed an impressive 11.42 percent year-on-year growth.

The increase is also believed to have been influenced by seasonal factors, such as Australia’s winter school holidays and heatwave warnings in parts of Europe, which may have affected travel decisions. These trends indicate that Bali continues to be a favored destination for tourists seeking to escape colder climates or unfavorable weather conditions.

Among the countries contributing to the surge, Australia remained the top source of tourists, with 161,051 arrivals in July. This was followed by significant numbers from China (59,651), India (45,288), France (38,460), and South Korea (38,275). French visitors, in particular, saw the most significant growth, with arrivals surging by 60.70 percent from June, which recorded 23,933 French tourists.

In terms of regions, European visitors led the surge with 206,280 arrivals, followed by tourists from Asia (197,528), Oceania (179,171), and smaller numbers from ASEAN, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa, each contributing fewer than 100,000 arrivals.
