Do you think China will attempt to take over Taiwan by force? And if so, how? Absolutely. They’ve been very clear. They’re going to do that. Xiinping has not missed words. We’re going to take back Taiwan. How? I think they’re going to come by the air. The general notion is that they’re going to use an amphibious landing. They will use elements of maritime forces, but I think that’s going to be a massive air invasion. When do you think this is going to happen? They’re going to be ready by 2027. And so, what we have to look to, are they capable? And I would say they’re absolutely capable. The weaponry that they’ve arrayed on their side of the Taiwan Strait has been building for decades, stockpiling weapons.   1. Once the FABS in America are at full power and production it wont matter what China does to Taiwan. The only thing they have that China wants is the chip factories. I would hope that Taiwan would destroy that before the island state falls.

    BUT, taking Taiwan is more than the chip plants, it opens China into having access to the 2nd island chain and the entire pacific and Thats how they can rival the US.

  5. Every single Taiwanese citizen between the ages of twelve and 80 should be armed and go to mandatory by monthly training in military tactics in markmanship. A fully armed citizenry cannot be occupied. The invasion might work but they will not occupy a determined citizenry of any country. It's just a matter of how much are they willing to fight

  11. China doesn't need to take over Taiwan. They've started their own domestic chip production. They're a far FAR larger country than Taiwan and they're the largest industrial giant on the planet. Give it 10 years and their chip production will rival Taiwan. Eventually I believe they'll unify again.

  16. Quite a few of the people contribute here say China only wants the island for chip production. If that’s the case, perhaps they need to take a lesson from Dune. The power to destroy a thing is the absolute control over it.
    Create high-end chip building in the US and give the Taiwanese the ability to destroy production. Might keep them safe.

  33. No. If China want they did years ago. This is typical America wants war and selling weapons again. Is Ukraine and Israel not enough? Be the way how many times did China attack Japan? Not one time. How many times did Japan attack China or Korea? A couple of times. So… peace.

  37. I teight English in China for a couple years. Even then I'd say 90% of people there thought taiwan is part of China. The belief goes deep. To me, the chance is 99.9%. To them, it's a pride thing. If you know anything about Asian culture you know that that means they'll do it.

  38. People keep saying this, but they forget that they have a crumbling economy. Without the booming economy they used to have, they won't stand a chance against NATO (which will definitely come to Taiwan's aid). China's economy is crumbling and all of their partner forces also have crumbling economies. They won't have the resources, plus, they haven't been in an armed conflict since the Korean war, whereas NATO is CONSTANTLY at war and training FOR war. Numbers only mean something when you have a well trained military, which they don't. I don't see China being the problem everyone thinks they are.

  41. 100% china is ready . They will take Taiwan im absolutely positive about that, the only thing is will we get brought into it or not? We don't want to fight China there will be millions on both sides lost if we did and it would be a whole new world war bcuz we would bring alot of countries with us.

    All that's needed is 1,more conflict to distract.
