I did happen to witness a guy making racist comments to an Asian man a few months ago in Coleraine (Causeway coast and glens). So I would say the actual number of incidents is a lot higher than what has been recorded.

When I was last over visiting home shortly before the 12th this year when driving near Ormeau Park I saw a group of school kids probably around 11 or 12 hurling abuse and giving the finger to a couple of Indian looking kids on the other side of the road. Depressing
Per capita would be more helpful statistically
I wonder if those figures include the likes of the two Asian guys attacking the white guy in Belfast in the middle of the street a couple of weeks back?

Is it more racism, is it more awareness to report, is it more folks of differing ethnicities so the numbers reflect the averages in a more diverse population ?

How is mid and east Antrim so low, surely harassing and abusing people on the street by one ethnic group would put it well over 500.
