As stated by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Serhiy Boev at the extraordinary meeting of the Ukraine–NATO Council, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reports an increase in weapons production in Russia.

During an extraordinary meeting of the Ukraine–NATO Council at the Alliance’s headquarters, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense Serhiy Boev stated that Russia is significantly increasing the production of weapons, including cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and artillery systems.

According to the official, support from North Korea and Iran indicates the dangerous impact of Russia’s war against Ukraine on global security and regional stability.

The Ukrainian side appealed to the allies to strengthen defense capabilities, in particular to provide additional air defense systems, including Patriot, ensure the supply of long-range missiles, and support the development of drone production in Ukraine.

The allies condemned the massive shelling of civilian targets by Russia, underscoring Moscow’s lack of willingness to pursue peace.

They assured that they would continue to support Ukraine, including through steady arms supplies and assistance in strengthening the protection of energy infrastructure ahead of the winter period.

Key areas of support and prospects for cooperation

The partners confirmed their intention to strengthen Ukraine’s defense potential, in particular to ensure the continuation and expansion of air defense deliveries, modernization of command-and-control systems, and integration of the long-range missile system as part of joint efforts.
