4. Naxals- Indian version of maoist guerillas .
   Not many people outside India know it, but there was a time when naxals were the biggest threat to India(more than Pakistan). The naxals controlled like 10-15 percent of Indian land(albit in the jungles/forest areas)
   However, due to a combination of hearts and minds campaign as well as specialized combat operations by federal and state police, the areas of naxal control have sunk and they are almost nearly wiped out.

6. can anyone find this being reported in news or the exact date of incident

   Edit: as per [https://satp.org/](https://satp.org/) (it’s a portal which tracks unconventional armed conflict in South Asia) there was only one instance where Naxalite attacked a camp it was on June 5th 2024 [source](https://satp.org/terrorist-activity/india-maoistinsurgency-Jun-2024#:~:text=Armed%20cadres%20of,reaction%20from%20SFs) and [primary source](https://organiser.org/2024/06/06/241293/bharat/chhattisgarh/chhattisgarh-maoists-attack-security-camp-in-narayanpur-flee-after-retaliation-by-forces-9-maoist-nabbed-in-bijapur/#:~:text=Armed%20cadres%20of,outlaws%20to%20withdraw).
   As per primary source the camp was recently established (the camp in the clip looks like one) and “country-made Barrel Grenade Launcher (BGL)” were used in attack.
   And officer quoted in the primary source is a Police not BSF personnel (it might be possible that BSF personnel were under operational command of Police, but it is unlikely)

   so if can anyone confirm the exact date of incident and confirm was the any other incident similar to this in month of June 2024
