  1. I think the morality of that situation is gone as soon as somebody abuses the benefit system. They are to blame, not the people helping the authorities notice the abuse.

    I’m happy to pay taxes and have those taxes support people that really need it, from handicapped to unemployed people. If somebody needs help, our society should happily give that help.

    But if somebody abuses the system, showing taxpayers and our society in general the middle finger, they should be caught and punished.

  2. I had a coworker who looked fine but was always calling in sick and when she came in she would complain about her health non-stop. We would snicker behind her back. Then one day she just died on the operatingtable. Her health couldn’t take the procedure she needed. Made a lasting impression.

  3. Why is everyone ‘slamming’ things these days in the news? It’s garbage journalism.
