I was reading an article about weird/strange international borders….Croatia and Bosnia appeared.

[Here](https://imgur.com/Q8Zv5Cx).

Most of the northern BIH border with Croatia is either Una or Sava River. So this building would have to be around the northwest BIH corner…around Bihac? Maybe down Dalmatian border?

There is no way it is in the northern BIH border with Croatia (Slavonia) because of the Una/Sava rivers.

Where could this be?

Back when it was Yugoslavia. The International borders between SLO/CRO/BIH/SER/MON/MAC/KOS did not exist and maybe there is a city or two in two side of a international border?

Yes, I know the chances of finding this is 0.000000000000000000001%.

  1. There is no city or town, on any border in Croatia that’s split in 2 like this. Also, the border with bosnia is mostly natural, i.e. either a mountain range or a river

  2. I don’t think this is true. The biggest tell is that the Croatian side is shelled, while the Bosnian one is renovated. If it was true, it would be the other way.

There are towns on rivers that ended up being split in two, e.g. Bosanska Kostajnica and Hrvatska Kostajnica. But that doesn’t result in buildings cut in two.

However, this reminds me of the segregation within Bosnia, unrelated to borders. Have a look at [this school](https://ba.n1info.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/2018-10-04t130402z-419883015-rc1e680df180-rtrmadp-3-bosnia-election-displaced-210364-725×408.jpeg) where Bosniak and Croat children are kept separate, and the church donated money for the school to be renovated, but only for the Croat side.
