Now they’re saying he was charged on August 5th but Sarwar has claimed he was not aware until August 18th. Media also did not report the story until then.
An MSP was arrested and charged with a serious crime and nobody was notified or aware? they were then able to attend events at Holyrood and meet children?
What did Anas Sarwar know and when? none of this is adding up.
It’s funny to see “Povery Wages Anas” try redirect the blame onto the SNP. Tale as old as time, “Scottish” Liebour blaming everyone but themselves for their own incompetence when it comes to vetting their MSPs
>After being read the list of incidents, Sarwar was asked: “So, you have a pretty major cultural problem in Scottish Labour, don’t you? How are you going to address this?”
>He responded: “I think what we have a cultural issue with in this country is that we have an SNP that’s addicted to wasting people’s money.”
>He continued: “To be honest, Xander, I think the question is beneath you and The National.”
Lol, absolutely shameless.
Goodness me; this story gets worse by the day. It now appears Sarwar has lied about the timeline of events whilst overseeing his former colleague hosting bairns at Parliament **10 days after** being arrested and charged for possessing **indecent images of children**. Alongside the hidden camera in toilet accusations, this story is shocking.
I fully expect the Beeb to be questioning Colin Smyth’s former boss Sarwar on a daily basis now.
Could have been worse, could have been the Brownies.
Something stinks here. I await the forensic tents on his and anas sarwar’s lawns…
Headline is problematical, somebody does a legitimate thing at a point after that.
Just saying headlines are bad.
No fan of labour, however MSP’s in their capacity do host events for ngos, and there are no claims of impropriety, let’s rise above witch-hunting.
Was reading a lighthearted “Get to know you” style interview with him from a few years ago. Spat my coffee when I got to this bit…
“My most treasured possessions are the photos I have of my kids. I’m obsessive about taking pictures and the wonders of modern phones means I’ve got thousands of photographs of my kids and all the memories they represent. My wife bought me a video camera for Christmas so I fully expect to soon have thousands of videos of my kids which I can embarrass them with on their 21st birthdays. My other prized possession is a Queen album signed by Freddie Mercury.”
