We are delighted to offer you the opportunity to join editor in chief Sam Sawyer, S.J., and literary editor James T. Keane on America’s spring 2026 pilgrimage to Ireland, “The Land of Saints & Scholars: A Journey into the Heart & Soul of Ireland.”

[Click here for full details, pricing and registration forms.]

As Irish-Americans ourselves, we are eagerly anticipating this trip with America pilgrims, especially because Father Sawyer’s visit to offer the Novena of Grace in honor of St. Francis Xavier at Gardiner Street in Dublin earlier this year allowed him to visit Dublin, but not to see any more of Ireland, and Jim Keane has not been back to Ireland since he wrote a story for America on it in 2018.

With the help of our friends, the professionals from Catholic Travel Centre, we have designed a pilgrimage that will enable us to pray and learn in some key spots in Dublin, Galway, Knock and the Aran Islands. Spiritual, historical and literary sites include various locales important in the 1916 Easter Rising, Christchurch Cathedral, Maynooth Seminary, Knock Museum, Chapel of the Apparitions, the Iron Age Fortress of Dun Aengus, the Seven Churches, Clonmacnois, Glasnevin Irish National Cemetery, the Museum of Literature of Ireland and other fascinating spots.

As we have designed it, this journey will be an inspirational and inspiring retreat for us all. Visiting sacred and significant sites, participating in Masses, and gathering for faith sharing will accompany times for personal reflection, prayer and silence that connect us more deeply to our faith, the saints and scholars of Ireland and, of course, our heavenly Father.

For more information, please take a look at the brochure HERE, where you can find the itinerary, pricing and other important information. On the last page of the brochure, you’ll also find the registration form.

If you would like to register for this pilgrimage, please act quickly! We accommodate pilgrims on a first-come basis, so it is important to return your registration forms promptly.

We look forward to being together in Ireland for this life-changing experience of fellowship and faith.
