No point getting the DLR one stop from Custom House to Royal Victoria, just walk directly to the cable car. That might save you a bit of time.
If you don’t want to pay for the cable car, a potential hack would be to grab a lime bike, lift the back wheel using the handle on the saddle, then wheel it towards the stop for the [cycle shuttle service](https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/cycling/cycle-shuttle-service) (as you need to have a bike to use it, but then it’s free)
Other times, Citymapper just recommended I take the Über Boat, but then I had to book the passes on the Über app to find a cheaper combination.
