Ukraine has a contract with Russia, not Slovakia, for the transit of Russian gas to Europe, including Slovakia. The key agreement is a five-year gas transit deal signed in 2019 between Ukraine’s Naftogaz and Russia’s Gazprom. It is up to Russia how it delivers their gas to their partners in Europe. They can do it via other pipelines or donkeys.
So Fico can talk to Zelensky about gas transport as much as he wants. And Zelensky can explain to him that there is no contract between Slovakia and Ukraine about gas transport.
Also, Fico should erect a statue to whoever blew up the North-Stream2. If it was finished as planned the gas would be not transported via Slovakia for past 4 years. So thanks to that explosion slovaks earned around 2 billion USD on transport fees.

I’m from Slovakia and I say blow up that oil and gas pipeline… F*ck MOL group (petrochemical group in Slovakia and Hungary, supling gas etc. from crude russian oil). That pipeline is called “Friendship” built during the soviet era and one of the few things literally connecting us to that f*cked up past. It’s time to make a huge thick line behid Russian “friendship” as everybody can see what friends there are and where for 40 years (as our puppet masters).
