I was thinking about this on my way back from Northumbria. I think the wall would literally be Hadrian’s Wall (so Newcastle to Cumbria). The area of England above the wall but south of Scotland would be where the wildlings live and Scotland would be where the white walkers come from
I think you’ve got The Wall as the Antonine wall, not Hadrian’s.
Reverse the British Isles left to right. It’s Westeros. Martin said he first got inspired standing on Hadrian’s Wall looking northwards.
Surely it would be the Crownlands instead of the Reach?
Wales is The Vale, Westerlands 100% the South East.
I like the Riverlands. I live on a boat on the River Nene.
Yeah sure, I’ve always identified with The Reach and partially the Westerlands as a guy from Dorset tbf
Wrong wall
Where are the Crowlands? As london is clearly King’s landing
East Anglia is the reach in premodern times and the south east the crown lands
The Iron Islands=the historical Kingdom of the Isles/ Bishopric of Sodor and Man, I reckon, so the Hebrides should be included with them.
Dorne was south coast, so like Brighton area not Cornwall
I’d say spot on 🤣
I was going to say the midlands is The Vale.
Most other regions have more river density!
The midlands would be The Vale.
Wales, Scotland, and the north are more river-dense.
Isle of wight is Dragonstone. Full of dragon bones (dinosaurs)!
