It occurs to me watching this, especially with the ongoing shortages of gasoline in Russia, that while most of their heavy equipment may be diesel powered and they have huge diesel reserves, a lot of the smaller stuff, whether civvie cars repurposed for logistics, motorbikes for assaults, and frontline generators are all powered off of gasoline. Also the shortages makes it more likely that corrupt Russian Logistics officers will try to sell off the gasoline to civilians at a premium, further starving their own troops of energy. I could imagine the tankers on their way to the front will get far more “leaky” as a result of the shortages.

    I would have thought their leaders would tear them up one side and down the other for showing anything that disproves the propaganda that “everything is going according to plan”.
