Vice President JD Vance and the second lady will be in Minneapolis on Wednesday to pay respects to the victims of the Annunciation Church shooting.

Vice President Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance will also participate in a number of private meetings with the families of those affected by the mass shooting, according to a press release from the White House.

Their visit will mark a week since two children were killed and 21 people were injured in the shooting at the church in southwest Minneapolis.
