  1. Isn’t it too early France? Maybe they should have waited another decade to decide.

  2. how many journalists were killed due to Israel bombings in Gaza?

  3. What about the hundreds of journalists that Netanyahu killed?

  4. Pretty cute to put out a performative arrest warrant for a guy that now resides in Russia, 13 whole years later

  5. > The investigation clearly established that the attack on the informal press centre was part of the Syrian regime’s explicit intention to target foreign journalists in order to limit media coverage of its crimes and force them to leave the city and the country.

I wonder how they decide which cases or people to bring for war crimes. If the above is sufficient for a French court to issue a warrant then there should be plenty of other heads of government/state or high ranking officials from other countries that should be investigated. Israel is an obvious place to start. Sudan should qualify too.

Slightly lesser known fact but [NATO also targeted journalists](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NATO_bombing_of_the_Radio_Television_of_Serbia_headquarters) in a similar way in the bombing in Yugoslavia. It was also condemned by all major human/media rights organisations but naturally, no arrests warrants were issued.

  6. Will they release one for Israel leaders in another decade? Or should we expect more exceptionalism and random finger wading.

  7. The EU is now supporting both Hamas and Isis, what clownshow.

  8. #TWO?!?

That is diabolical! I can’t think of any world leader ordering bombing that would unalive that many journos. Unthinkable!

  9. Bashar Al-Assad was a true hero who fought to keep his united and protected minorities. France can eat shit, their women are being raped by gangs they imported while calling Assad war criminal for stablizing his country from terrorists.
