  1. Ours is both very old and very down to Earth. In a city with several palaces, the Binnenhof is just wonderfully Dutch. We don’t need marble or sandstone, this country is built on clay with clay bricks.

  2. Ours are mostly from the XVI century (some XV, some XIX), somewhat normal from the outside, fancier inside

  3. It’s the UK’s largest nursing home.

    Edit: autocorrect

  4. I think i don’t get the appeal of londonian architectures, i don’t find those kind of buildings very pretty. Massive yes, but definitely not my taste compared to those in many other countries. I prefer your villages

  5. The Houses of Parliament look pretty cool. The people inside the building, however? Yeah, no.

  6. I would like to nominate Austria. We have the Austrian [Parlament](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austrian_Parliament_Building), the [Hofburg](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hofburg) and the [Wiener Rathaus](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vienna_City_Hall) all close together.

If we count FORMER residential buildings we could count [Schloss Schönbrunn](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sch%C3%B6nbrunn_Palace) or maybe also the [Festung Hohensalzburg](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hohensalzburg_Fortress)

To meet nice people you have to leave Vienna tho…
