  1. “Mace wiped tears from her face and averted reporters’ eyes as she walked past them, signaling she would not be taking questions.”

You can’t avert someone else’s eyes; you can only avert your own. Sheesh.

And Mace’s empathy seems to be quite limited. She’s been busy tormenting Sarah McBride for months like a classic Mean Girl.

  2. Pay close attention, MAGA will turn on the victims now and convince Maga voters that child sex crimes aren’t a big deal anymore. Hashtag save the children hashtag unmask our children blah blah blah

  3. And this is Trump. Everyone proud of this rapist leader?? He should be in jail.

  4. And I’m sure she’ll jump right back to championing her pedo in chief. Spare me

  5. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Nancy Mace when she wasn’t “visibly upset.”

  6. They probably mentioned Trump and her dumbass is surprised he would do such a thing

  7. When Mace was questioned by George Stephanopolous about why she supports rapist Trump, she showed why she is a hypocrite in the highest order, and she should not be trusted about anything she says.

    >Mace based her argument on two main points: That Trump was not convicted in a criminal trial (as opposed to a civil trial) and that E. Jean Carroll, who has been awarded millions in lawsuits against Trump, deserved condemnation for the way in which she spoke about the money she was awarded.

    >“She’s joked about it. I find it offensive and I also find it offensive that you are trying to shame me with this question,” Mace said.

    >Stephanopoulos repeatedly denied attempting to belittle her, saying he was trying to clarify what he saw as an inconsistent position.

    >“I’m asking a very simple question,” he said at one point, to which she again argued that he was shaming and belittling her. The two went back and forth along those lines for several minutes.

    >He asked again later: “You don’t find it offensive that Donald Trump has been found liable for rape?”

    >“I find it offensive that as a rape victim you’re trying to shame me for my political choices and I’ve said again, repeatedly, E. Jean Carroll has made a mockery out of rape by joking about it,” Mace said.

I don’t believe Mace was ever raped. She’s using her rape claim as a cudgel against others like E. Jean Carroll. In addition, she made a pretty outrageous claim on the House floor:

    >The South Carolinian took to the House floor last month to accuse her ex-fiance, Charleston businessman Patrick Bryant, and three other men of rape, sex trafficking and nonconsensually filming sex acts with her and others.

    >Now Brian Musgrave, one of the other men Mace named on the House floor, is suing the member of Congress for defamation.

From someone as unreliable as Mace, it’s best to take the default position that everything she says is a lie unless her claims can be verified by someone reliable.

  8. I doubt she would cry over anything but for herself. If she had empathy she wouldn’t be a Republican. Wait is this the dog killer? I get them mixed up.

  9. This is some “I’m the main character” moves by Mace, even if she’s being genuinely upset, she could have had the grace to listen to these people all the way through. Her allegations were never brought to the authorities as she claims

“In her February speech, Mace claimed she was speaking out because South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson had declined to act upon evidence of abuse that she said she provided. But the top state prosecutor said Mace’s accusations of improper conduct by his office were “categorically false,” claiming the office had “no knowledge” of Mace’s alleged assault until her speech on the House floor.”

And she’s being sued in civil court by the people she’s accused. The victims of Epstein were the folks who the attention should be on, not Mace.

  10. This is a brief glimpse of the humanity in MAGA before they receive their talking points. Every time something heart touching happens, they revert to normal human beings, but only for a moment. (except school shootings, they’ve been desensitized to those). Remember the day of January 6th? Nearly every republican was saying it was wrong. Remember very early covid before Trump decided he didn’t like how he looked in a mask? Remember initially when Trunp’s DOJ said there was no Epstein list, case closed, and Trump attacked the reporter asking a reasonable question?

    Every single time.

Mace will collect herself, regroup and then find a way to avoid responsibility, while blaming Dems.

  11. Yeah, until she votes for an impeachment and removal…it’s all performative bs

  12. Yall falling for the hokey doke once again…

Mace is not to be trusted. She will show up on Fox to lie again and again. Let me guess she will name Bill, Hillary and Joe Biden….in that order.

  13. Don’t listen to what she says.

    Watch what she does.

She supports a predator NAMED in the papers her party is trying to hide AND she hasn’t said a word about her party’s attempt to kidnap and traffic 600 children.

    .

  14. How is it we know the names of victims, but not the names of who they accuse of victimising them?
Has anyone asked the victims who did it?

How is this not being prosecuted?

The files are a politicized side show, this is a criminal justice matter,

Where is the FBI investigation into what was apparently a sizable child sex trafficking ring?

How can we only have two arrests?

  15. She’s crying because the orange one can’t be defended, not because she cares about what happened to the victims.

  16. THEN VOTE TO RELEASE THE LIST YOU BITCH. God damn these people don’t have any standards.

  17. I’ve never understood women tripping over themselves protecting the patriarchy but this takes the cake. She has a dead soul

  18. And then she went on twitter and right away made it all about her, centering herself instead of the victims.

  19. Mike Johnson wants transparency?  Release the files you fruitcake.

  20. Wait, I thought the Republican Party line was that the Epstein thing was a hoax…? 🤔

  21. Mace made victim testimony about herself.

    There fixed it for ya.

  22. And yet she helped get one of their abusers elected.

  23. She has shown ZERO action to do anything to hold stuff like this accountable. Crocodile disingenuous tears, probably just sad that she wasn’t able to talk, or tell the victims that trump is their messiah. No respect for no action.

  24. She will make it about her and not do a fucking thing for those victims.

  25. They all knew he was a child predator when they voted for him.

The time to be visibly upset was before you cast your vote.

  26. Who knew that running cover for child rapists could be so morally distressing?

  27. ‘“I feel the immense pain of how hard all victims are fighting for themselves because we know absolutely no one will fight for us. GOD BLESS ALL SURVIVORS,” she added.’

Does she know who the president is, and what he’s been found liable for?

  28. We will know how sincere Mace was when the discharge petition is voted on.

  29. Hijacking another woman’s trauma for attention.
