>when the cabinet finally got round to having a meeting about the issues last week, the big idea that emerged was some nonsense about having fewer MOTs. It would be laughable if it wasn’t so tragic.
Peak Thick Of It
I imagine our next election to go pretty much exactly the same as the 2020 American Election. Close to the date, a lot more campaigning will be happening online, specifically young people saying “We *have* to get them out”, “vote tactically”, things like that, a sense of desperation amongst many others. A lot of forums will be saying the same things about Starmer as Americans did about Biden – “Acceptable under the circumstance”, “he’s not Boris”.
I don’t know how the Tories will take the loss; which, I think will occur narrowly and Labour will be essentially in a left-wing coalition, in a way, with the combination of Labour, Green, Lib Dem, and SNP outnumbering the Conservatives if you pool all their seats together with the majority being Labour. Which, if you think about it, is sad, that the Conservatives can do all this and still narrowly lose.
The Tories could kick up a fuss about loosing, or, there could be a quiet purge in the Tory Party of this whole cabinet, and the ensuing party will be different to what it is.
And whilst I don’t necessarily agree with Starmer since he’s hardly left of centre if at all, I have to say, if he gets in which I think is almost inevitable, he is quintessential ‘Prime Minister’. You wouldn’t wake up to see Boris on the news having done something strange, with his hair wild and his hands waving – you’d see a neat grey haired politician who can orate decently giving statements.
There’s more chance of shagging the pipe than labour winning
It matters not who gets in power, the end result will be the same as they are only 2 sides of the same coin. Seen it all before. Only one thing you can do is vote for the party that will do the least amount of damage. All of them will screw you over, to believe otherwise is delusional
