Asked about Greek Freak Giannis Antetokounmpo and how to stop him he said,”We’ll see, we’ll see. I mean, let’s not talk about how it will happen if it happens. Because when it does, we can talk about it.
“But until we’re in that situation, I don’t want to discuss it. At the same time, yes, he is an amazing basketball player and it’s very difficult to stop him, not just for our national team, but for any team that plays against him, whether it’s his national team or his NBA team.”
The coach part of the Slovenian team that won the 2017 edition was asked about this tournament and said, “I can count about ten teams right now, because this EuroBasket is one of the toughest in the last—I don’t know how many—years.

“So it’s very difficult to talk about one specific team, but I can say that one of them is definitely Greece.”
