Last night, a Tu-160 failed to launch its missiles due to a malfunction in the launch mechanism; a Tu-160 was struck by lightning and returned to the airfield with damaged cockpit windows. Another strategic bomber was unable to take off from Engels for an unknown reason.

  1. It’s a warning from the almighty you no-good cosmic shunts, heed it well…

  2. No doubt as a result of sending the ground crew to the front lines…

  3. We have before seen strikes from Neptune. Now it seems Jupiter has entered the battles. Ukraine is unleashing the entire Roman pantheon day by deity.

  4. Wasnt engels the one that got struck bad and depot got destroyed? They got it operational this fast?

  5. US uses old B-52 bombers, russians use old T-160 bombers, but there’s a small nuance called maintenance…

  6. With no operational A-50’s Putin’s air force is blind.

  7. Good doesn’t always punish with a stick, sometimes he uses lightning.

  8. don’t tell me this “army” is bursting at the seams:-)

  9. Tu-160s as swing wing bombers require a huge amount of maintenance. This may be why Ukraine didnt seem to strike any during operation spiderweb. Ukraine destroyed the more reliable bombers, leaving the Tu-160 fleet to have to work overtime to make up for the losses, leading to more strain on these maintenance heavy bombers

  10. Lightning? Fark, poor Russia just can’t catch a break can it.

Actually they did catch a few breaks recently.

    1. Netanyahu starting his war against Iran bumped the oil price for a while

    2. The epic stupidity of American voters gave him his best shot of winning this war.

  11. Shouldn’t Flamingos be easily in range of Engels? Sounds like a overwhelming attack with ~30 missiles could do quite some damage there.

  12. It’s kind of odd to call these coincidences an emergency. It’s either really events that just happened due to bad maintenance and weather. Or they are covering up failed attacks because the failure of the plane was due to manipulation and they’re afraid that the crews will start asking questions. Wouldn’t be surprised if some Ukrainian special forces gained access to the planes and optimized them their way.

  13. Seems that they’re using some unmaintained/older airframes, I wonder why.

  14. Damage cokpit windows….plane are parked far away from Ukraine now…and round trip bombing raids are 6000 kilometers now…structural fatigue, and locations now are before Flamingo…

Russia do not master jet engines (like China..) and you need 40 hours of maintenance for one hour of flight

  15. Hopefully ’lightning’ is the name of a new Ukrainian drone.

  16. Debris maybe you understand how they explode in the sky lol Slava Ukraini
