  1. All energy is solar except fusion and fission.
    Even coal is stored solar. 

    Too much fusion e g. 100x current electricity usage will cause a second kind of climate change unrelated to the greenhouse effect. 

    Though we can also take energy use off earth into space in the long term

  2. We should diversify our energy system: solar, wind, waterpower and even biomass and geothermal energy should be part of the mix. Battery storage to round things up.
