That pretty sure went ballistic. Where do you get the data from? Does it work in west EU as well?
upd: i see its working in EU but not in Switzerland.
Also if i search for a location and click on a toilet it shows the correct address but the map always shows lake Limmat and not the selected location.
They want to know where they can loot more toilets, they’ve run out in Ukraine
You probably need to capitalise on that ASAP. If the app isn’t already available in Russian language, get it translated ASAP.
Public toilets system in Russia is surprisingly underdeveloped even in big cities for no obvious reason and ones built back in Soviet times are horrible. Recently a bunch of separate stalls were installed, but they are pay-to-use.
Of course, nowadays we have plenty of malls, gas stations and fast-food joints with open bathrooms in them, but sometimes you are in unknown area or need something specific (maybe you have disabilities or really bad diarea or a tourist) and finding a good place quick is next to impossible since there are no signs.
Of course your app gonna explode here.
BTW i love the emergency button. 😀
‘Look at where all the toilets we looted in Ukraine showed up’
So does it work like you can put your own coords in there? In this case it is pretty useful. There are problems with clean toilets even in Moscow. I, for once, wanted to use paid toilet in city center, paid for it, it got automatically opened and I found a hobo sleeping inside. It was like finding a shitty toy in your Kinder Surprise egg.
this data isn’t particularly beautiful; this is just an ad. i love the idea of your website, but since it’s clearly vibecoded, i have some feedback:
1. your website doesn’t have a privacy policy, which is especially egregious since you’re asking for location data and allow account sign ups
2. it says that every toilet is reviewed and community verified, but that doesn’t seem to be true.
3. are your user testimonials real or just LLM outputs?
4. is the blog written or verified by a human at all? why even bother having one? when any jackass can type a prompt into an LLM, what is the value in surfacing unverified outputs to your users?
Nice! Can you filter between free vs paid toilets/bathroom? This would also blow up in Mexico
Cool website. Consider increasing the zoom limit on the map so you can zoom out further
I’m also from the Philippines and am not surprised it was developed here. Necessity is truly the mother of invention. Good job OP.
How is this data beautiful? It’s just a screenshot of Google Analytics.
