  4. This shouldn’t have to be explained. They didn’t start the war. Russia is trying to act like a victim and like they are being reasonable after starting a war. Don’t give me historical BS about territory lines either. We live in today. They should give up zero but Pootin is basically mini hitter and is crying like a little c u next Tuesday about the fact that he can’t screw over even more people. For fucks sake why should Ukraine concessions even be considered??!!??!!

    how many times have the history shown us that territorial concessions to appease the aggressors will not bring peace, it will only further encourage the aggression

    simple logic, if every time you attack a country you will get a cut of it, will you ever stop attacking?

    Ukraine gave up Crimea once, it sent Russia an impression that they can always attack and get something out of it, see where it led now. Ukraine has its back to the wall now, borrow steal kill, they have to do anything they can to survive, or their country will cease to exist in a decade

    you can refuse to help Ukraine, for whatever excuse, your money is your right afterall

    Any concession will embolden him to press on into other territory he claims to be historically or culturally Russian.

  15. Giving up land for NATO membership is the only acceptable trade off.

    Giving up land without any security guarantees, without NATO boots in Ukraine, will only postpone the war for later when Russia is better prepared.

    They then agreed on the Minsk agreement in 2015 after losing Crimea and the LPR/DPR.

    Now, a third time Russia says “let us take more land and we won’t invade, but have final veto on all military action in Ukraine, you can trust us, pinky swear”

    No shit Ukraine isn’t budging- The last time “the west” forced them to sign in 2015 it led to fucking nothing, and a full scale war in 2022.

    Surrendering yet again and handing over more territory won’t result in a permanent peace agreement, and it’ll only embolden **Russia** *not Putin* to invade again when they’ve rebuilt enough canon fodder.

  24. his argument is very weak. Realistically, Russian resources and its political capital are increasingly finite. Russia is not just going to invade NATO allies either, triggering an all out war against all of Europe and the US. Literal WW3. Putin just wants strategic ports and grain and political power of a win. He has no plans to invade NATO allies.
