He's likely to be the first to say "it takes a team", but if ever we could unanimously agree to praise 1 individual, I think Alain Remue is a front runner.

Always serene, always communicates very clearly, and all of this whilst doing a job which starts at a time of crisis for the involved parties. I can't compare to any other police unit, but based on the numbers in the article, he has a 98% closure rate on cases.

I don't know which honours the government can bestow upon a person, but he's deserving of all of them.

  2. Everytime I see him on tv I am overwhelmed by how charismatic he is. He must be so scarred by what he has seen, but you can tell he’s such a good guy. Literally all my respect to him.

  3. Much respect to that guy. He’s done an incredible job, and one of the most difficult jobs as well.

  4. Great guy, i wouldn’t be surprised if one day they make a tv series based on his experiences.

    Would definitely watch it.
