Anyway. Saturday I visited a fancy boat with my engineer friend who worked in the project. It’s called [Orion and has cost over 300 million](https://www.deme-group.com/technologies/Orion). It is absolutely massive. Got a tour of the ship, sat in one of the steering chairs which was cool as fuck. Part of why it is so expensive is because the crane (which can pull a mind boggling 5000 ton or one Your Mother) [collapsed dramatically](https://youtu.be/xYu0f57XAz0) in an industry defining accident. Anyway, safe travels and may lots of windmills be built by you!
Sunday was the annual “let’s hike to Scherpenheuvel on May 1st”. Nice 20 km, only had some issue with my foot that I’d twisted last Tuesday near the end. Nothing really exciting there, compared to that big ass boat.
Coming back to work after a week of vacation and then a few days of sick leave because of corona. Will feel like an endless Monday today.

Nice tattoo. I’m getting my next 2 small ones in June. Just 2 small Norse runes. One of them I’m getting together with my mother, the other one I’m getting with my wife.
Rage inducing moment yesterday:
* new frituur in our village (3rd one): yay
* cool interior and terrace (with roof) that overlooks the local waterway: YAY
* a lot of choice of snacks and burgers, veggie as well: YAY!!!!!
* no online/phone orders so had to wait 40mins: nay
* they messed up my order a bit: NAY
* fries were undercooked and today I’m bloated: NAY!!!!!
* price is almost 1/3 more than our usual frituur WTF…: NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
Poor doggy has a small wound on his paw. Going to the vet in an hour. No idea how he got it.
Yesterday friends came over to my place. We ended the day with chicken nuggets and hot sauces.

Gf’s having her first day at ze new job today, I’m all nervous on her behalf… I hope it goes well and isn’t overly stressy. Colleagues at the office have off, so besides the users passing by for issues/replacements, not really many people to speak to / interact with, which is a lil sad.
Gotta arrange some free days for practical stuff still, send a mail to the HR of the new place.
Hope I get to all of it today. Also, they stopped refilling the milk in the coffee machine 🙁 Brought some from home, but not enough. Also, I fear it will be but a few days before the coffee runs out and they decide not to replace that either :'( And we still got over a month to go in this building, it’s a travesty!
This sucks. I’m starting at the new job pretty soon. The job includes a car and during negotiations I stressed whatever car i would get on day 1, needed to be big enough to serve as the family car. Sure they said at the time.
Now I find out, a bit by accident, that the car they have is too small. So I’m now pissed that I have to start shit when I start there and that they didn’t get in contact with me on this on their own initiative.
