Last thing I’d have done is whip out the phone. I see a badger im legging it the opposite direction:) especially wierd to see one during daylight.
Surprisingly agile!
That one doesn’t seem to like you.
There’s a group of them near where I live in Dublin, think they hang out in a little wooded area nearby; see them at night the odd time running across the road when the street is quiet! Surprisingly big fellas, think some peeps confuse them for raccoons sometimes, but badgers are far more numerous in Ireland as I understand it
So sad to say I only ever see Badgers as roadkill. Rare to get a video of them like this
They’re my spirit animal
Great bunch of lads
He hadn’t noticed you till you turned, they have very bad sight
This time of the year is definitely badger season where I live. They usually are out and about super late at night wandering the road. So I take it extra handy and often have to stop to let one cross.
They are the cutest things ever. Seen one in a field once and it was huge. They are clever enough to keep away from us.
“Meet the badger”
I was told in primary school, that if a badger bites your leg, you’re supposed to find a stick and snap it loudly, because then they think they’ve broken a bone and will let go.
It hasn’t been quite as common an occurrence as my eight year old self was lead to believe..
Hairy Japanese bastards
Don’t let Edwin Poots see it
They are nocturnal thats why we don’t see them much in daytime.they scrape through cow dung in fields to eat something particular think its a root of some kind.the department have started vaccinating them after they snare them for tb.they used to shoot them up to a year ago near me where ever there was an outbreak of tb in cattle
