  1. They condemed our boiler in the middle of winter, asked for 3.5k to replace and couldn’t get someone out for 3 months…

    Found an independent and got one fitted for less than 2k.

  2. Sounds about right…

    If I don’t apply regular top ups on my gas meter – I top up a large amount in one go – I get Texts, email and even letters from BG, asking me if I’m ok…

    This has only stated happening recently.

    They are not concerned if I’m ok – they think the meter is bypassed 👎🤔

In my experience it’s “never be afraid to have your customers pay for their own gas supply and the gas supply of some random stranger they never met, and don’t believe your customer or look into the situation for well over a year of your customer complaining about them being severely overcharged”.

    But I guess that’s not as funny.

  4. They once tried to charge me £660 for gas that a previous tenant had used, despite knowing the gas had been capped prior to me moving and hadn’t been uncapped at the point the bill was sent. It took 3 months for them to convince their computers that the debt was wrong. How they didn’t cut me off automatically I don’t know.
